The process of bar-coding mail allows the mail to speed through the Postal Processing System. Each bar-code is a machine code that encompasses the entire address in each printed bar-code

In 1984 the United States Postal Service began discount mail programs. These programs allow customers to submit mail at discount rates by affixing bar-codes and sorting the mail before it gets to the Postal Service. This program is a work share with the Postal Service to help reduce cost on both sides.

Both First Class and Standard Mail mirror each other in this process. Automated Discounts are a very valuable way to decrease your costs and expedite your mail within the Postal System

We provide APS Couriers to pick-up, Quality control and transport your mail to our facility.

The mail is entered into our facility quality controlled a second time and placed in line for processing.

During processing the mail is "read" and the approiate bar-code is affixed and the mail is sorted into the correct Zipcode bin.

After sortation the mail is trayed, tagged and caged. At this time a third quality control process is completed.

Our mail is then trucked in a secure box truck to the Tucson Bulk Mail Unit for acceptance at the approximate time based on our USPS Contract.

Mail that is produced by our "Lettershop" follow a similar process into the USPS Mail Stream.

Daily and weekly report are generated for each customer covering all aspects of the processing of their mail.

Customers are billed on a weekly basis to ensure exacting service levels.

Discounted Rates - By affixing a bar-code to all of our daily mail we can offer our customers lower postage rates even after our cost to process and submit your mail. This lowers your company's overall postage budget.
 

Fast forward - Our processing system is equipped with "Fast Forward". This is a process for any mail that has a change of address on file at the Postal Service. If your customer has a change of address on file the machine has that information on file, it then prints the corrected address on the envelope along with the corrected bar-code. All of this happens on-line and at the same speed of 36,000 mail pieces per hour.
